Crime report: Handgun taken from vehicle

Here are the latest crime reports, as shared by Capt. Jeff Hughes of the Brentwood Police Department:
  • A glass was broken in a rear door of Bank of America, 1800 Mallory Lane, sometime between June 18 and 19. Jerry Esaw was arrested.
  • A residential burglary was reported at a home on Split Log Road sometime between May 24 and June 14. Cash was taken from an unlocked basement.
  • On June 18, two attempted thefts were reported in Maryland Farms: Vehicles at businesses located at 111 Westwood Place and 110 Winners Circle both had attempts made to force locks open. Nothing was reported as taken and there are no suspects.
  • A Glock handgun was taken from a car on Delmere Creek Lane between June 22 and June 23.
  • Vandalism was reported on June 18 at the Sportsman's Lodge when a paint was scratched on a vehicle.
  • And at Enterprise Rent-A-Car near 9660 Boswell Court, a passenger side window was broken out.
